CAREER CENTER TEAM
The Westfield State University Career Center is staffed by a team of enthusiastic professionals with extensive experience in working effectively with students and alumni in the area of academic, personal and career development. The staff also reaches out to the community, creating partnerships with non-profit and for-profit employers to develop career and experiential education opportunities consistent with the needs and interests of our students and alumni and in support of the mission of the University.
JUNIOR DELGADO, M.Ed., B.A.
Director, Career Center & Employer Relations
Junior has worked in the Career Center since 2000 and in August 2009 became the Director of the Career Center at Westfield State University. Also, Junior was the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Westfield State for eight seasons and is now a Volunteer Coach. He was a First Year Experience Instructor on campus for five years. Junior received his MBTI Qualification Certificate in 2009 and completed the Career Development Facilitator (CDF) training . He earned his Bachelor of Art in Spanish and Education from Clark University and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Westfield State.
Giselle started working in the Career Center at Westfield State University in 2007. She provides career and graduate school advising. Giselle is MBTI certified, completed the Career Development Facilitator (CDF) training, coordinates the Career Strategies Seminar for Education Seniors, and produces the University's Experiential Education Report. Giselle earned her bachelor's degree in English Education from Hartwick College and her masters in Higher Education Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
DINO INNARELLI, M.P.A., B.A.
Assistant Director and Coordinator of Data Management and Alumni Career Services
Dino joined the Career Center in 2010 with over twenty years of career advising and workforce development experience. He coordinates the data collection, analysis and reporting process; Professional Networking Nights; the Annual Post Graduate Report and career-related alumni programs. Dino also provides career development, graduate school advising and is a GO-2 Mentor. He is STRONG Certified, completed the Career Development Facilitator (CDF) training, received his bachelor's degree from Western New England University and his Master of Public Administration from Westfield.
JENNIFER DOBIECKI, M.P.A., B.A.
Career Counselor/Employer Relations
Jennifer joined the Career Center in October of 2013 and brings her experience in human resources, marketing and customer service to serve students and alumni. Jennifer provides career development and graduate school advising. Also, she is responsible for assisting the director of the Career Center with employer relations. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Masters in Public Administration and is a proud alumnus of Westfield State University. She is STRONG Certifed and completed the Career Development Facilitator (CDF) training.
SHARON KING, ADMIN II
Sharon joined the WSU Career Center in 1999 after 15 years of professional experience in the banking industry. Her contributions to this busy student support service office include program planning and development, marketing, and financial and office management. She enjoys working with students, employers and the University community to help prepare students for successful careers and advanced study. When not working, she enjoys travel and gardening and is also pursuing her undergraduate degree.
LORI PUTNAM, CLERK IV
Lori joined the Career Center in August 2008 after thirty years in corporate America. She coordinates the Center's Part-Time Jobs Newsletter, posts jobs in Handshake, and assists students with Career Center resources. Lori has completed coursework in Liberal Studies and Legal Secretarial at Fitchburg State University and Springfield Technical Community College. Lori is also pursuing her undergraduate degree.
CAREER CENTER INTERNS:
CASSANDRA RUDD, GRADUATE ASSISTANT
Cassandra is currently in her second year of graduate school in the Forensic Mental Health Counseling program, and is looking to pursue a career within the criminal justice system. She graduated summa cum laude from Nichols College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English. Cassandra has previously worked in career services and is a CRLA Level 3 master certified peer tutor. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, reading and spending time with family and friends.
