Communication Department

Why Communication?

We offer a program that balances theory and practice, internship opportunities, and extracurricular activities. Our interactive learning formats with dedicated faculty will provide you with engaging classes where you'll learn to look at everyday life with fresh perspective. Social media, film, advertising, mass media, public relations, and interpersonal communication experiences are explored with special emphasis on social relationships, including race, gender, sexuality, and class.

  • The Westfield Voice

    The Voice is the Westfield State student press with primary emphasis on news that most directly and immediately affects students.
