Beverly C. Lucey is a career educator having taught high school in Greenfield, MA until she moved to Georgia to teach in the education department at a small women's college, Agnes Scott, outside of Atlanta.  Five years later, due to another family move, she began teaching at the University of Central Arkansas in the Speech and Writing Department.  Since her return to Western MA she joined the Westfield State University staff as a Visiting Lecturer.  She cannot imagine a September without having a couple of class lists in her hand. Lucey is also a writer, primarily of short fiction,  which she has had published online as well as in print.
