Persona, the student-run Literary Arts Journal of Westfield State University, features student submissions of artwork, photography, poetry, creative nonfiction, and fiction. First, second and third place winners are chosen from each category and win cash prizes along with being published in the journal.
Aside from general submissions, which are open to all students aside from the named staff and editorial board, there are several events held throughout the year -- Flash Fiction and Flash Poetry -- where students can compete, using themed prompts, to have their work accepted into the journal. Editorial staff are allowed to participate in these events.
Now accepting submissions for the 2017 edition!
Please include your name and email on all copies of your work for future notifications. All submissions must be sent electronically to email@example.com.
Students of all majors are encouraged to attend meetings and/or submit work!
