Regina Smialek has 20 years of experience working in Student Accounts and Purchasing and running the Multicultural Development office and Student Support Services at Westfield State. She brings a well-rounded knowledge of college procedures, budgets, and office management.
In the English Department, Regina serves as the primary clerical support person for all full-time and part-time faculty. She is responsible for the needs of approximately 60 English Department faculty, the largest department in terms of faculty (full time and part time) and students served (majors and nonmajors) at WSU. Regina also provides support for related entities, such as the Theatre Arts Program, Composition Program, Graduate English Program, Reading and Writing Center, and student organizations (English Club, Sigma Tau Delta, Student Theatre Association, Persona literary magazine).
