Research

My research focuses on the complex soil ecosystem and its response to disturbance by anthropogenic means. I am interested in the remediation of contaminated soils, improvement of soil health and overall sustainability in agroecosystems and protecting biodiversity in what is the Earth’s most complicated ecosystem. Students with interests in any of these areas as well as Environmental Education should feel free to come and speak with me about their interests and ways to get involved.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me for more information about the Environmental Science Program at Westfield State University.
