Minors for History Majors

If history is your passion, pursue it! Developing strong writing, research, communication, and analytical skills will prepare you for a wide variety of future careers. You also might want to consider completing a minor in another field. WSU offers many minors and nearly every department offers this option. Most minors only require 6 courses or 18 credits and offer students a wide variety of courses to choose from. WSU also offers unique interdisciplinary minors. Having a minor looks great on your resume and will help you stand out in a competitive job market. Moreover, you can “double dip” as history courses are included in nearly all of the interdisciplinary majors listed below!
