All area teachers who have been trained as mentors may apply to take these advanced workshops.

Mentor Training - Each summer the CENTER provides foundational training for those teachers who work with beginning teachers in their districts. In addition each year we offer some type of advanced workshop for mentors who have been previously trained by the New Teacher Center.
-
Ongoing courses and workshops for educators - the CENTER continues to offer a variety of credit and non-credit courses and workshops for principals, teachers, school nurses and central office administrators. These are held as week long workshops during the summer, full day and after school workshops during the school year and some online training. Topics include math, science, reading, ELL, special education, teaching techniques and forums on current trends and issues.
