The Art Program at Westfield is designed to develop creative ability in students while fostering their aesthetic and historical knowledge about the visual arts. The Art major provides a broad background in the fine arts and an emphasis on basic foundation courses for students orientated toward a career in art history, fine arts, graphic design, certification for teaching or continued study on the graduate level. The professional fine arts program structured within the liberal arts enables the student to receive personal attention with course selection and future career opportunities.
