A scholarship student and 1970 graduate of the San Francisco
Conservatory of Music, Phillip de Fremery has toured extensively
throughout the United States, Canada and Central Europe including
orchestral appearances, many configurations of chamber music and
master classes, many of those conducted under the auspices of Maestro
Oscar Ghiglia at the Aspen Music Festival and School. Mr. de Fremery
has made his home in Western Massachusetts since 1973 and in addition
to his adjunct position at Westfield State University he also teaches
at Amherst, Hampshire, Holyoke Community, Mount Holyoke and Smith
Colleges.
