Careers in Diplomacy

April 6th, 2018 - April 6, 2018
12:00 - 1:00 pm

Do you want to live and work abroad?

The U.S. Department of State hires American citizens to work as diplomats, special agents, nurses, doctors, engineers, secretaries, IT professionals, and visa clerks. We also hire Americans who speak intermediate or advanced Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, and Arabic. Students interested in diplomacy can apply for an internship in Washington or at an Embassy overseas.

Students and the public are invited to learn about these programs from career diplomat Usha Pitts, who served in Cuba, Russia, Italy, Austria, Panama and Brazil.

Join Ms. Pitts on Friday, April 6 at 12:00 p.m. in the Owl's Nest.
