Westfield invites the community to join us in making the neighborhood and city a beacon of educational and cultural opportunities. As we work together to improve the quality and substance of life in our community, Westfield State is committed to being a good neighbor. Our Office of Special Services and Community Service encourages sharing resources with the community in order to create and support a variety of projects and programs.
Some of our programs include:
- College 101 – for all city 8th-graders
- Take Your Sons and Daughters to Work Day
- Breakfast with Santa
- Aviation Day
- Community Service Day
Through numerous campus initiatives, student volunteerism, and a faculty/staff commitment to community engagement, we seek to create a campus community that embraces cultural diversity, the challenges of global citizenship, and meaningful partnerships in the region.
