HR Certification Program

This 36-hour course is intended primarily for individuals who desire HR certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). The content provides practical, “real-world” information about each of the major functional areas of human resource management as well as recent legislative changes affecting today’s HR professional. This course is offered in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and leverages the SHRM Learning System. Year after year, professionals who use the SHRM Learning System to prepare for certification exams consistently surpass the national pass rate.
In addition to its benefit as a certification preparation “tool”, this program will help participants develop a generalist point of view, refresh key ideas and concepts, and strengthen their understanding of core human resource competencies. Long after this course is over, the course materials will serve as a valuable day-to-day operations manual.
By enrolling in this course, you will benefit from:
- An experienced instructor who will present content in an easy-to-understand format
- Interaction and networking with peers
- A dynamic classroom environment that enhances learning
- Classroom expectations and assignments that help you stay on track
