Career Development Facilitator Training
The CDF training is the premiere training for people who assist others in planning careers and obtaining meaningful work. As a training participant, you will follow a curriculum developed by the National Career Development Association (www.ncda.org). The curriculum addresses the 12 core competencies required by career practitioners, and provides up-to-date resources, references, career-related websites and much more. You will have opportunities to interact with colleagues from a variety of work settings in a hands-on, interactive environment. You’ll complete the required 120-hour training through six face-to face meetings and submit the remainder of the assignments through online submissions and projects. After successful completion of this training, candidates with specific educational and experience requirements may apply for the Global Career Development Facilitator credential. For further information, refer to the NCDA website listed above.
