Westfield State plans to resume its traditional, on-campus schedule for fall 2020. Given the ongoing uncertainties related to COVID-19, we believe it is also prudent to develop contingency plans. Updates will be communicated as they become available.

Westfield State University to host annual Spring Job & Internship Fair

Westfield State University will host its annual Spring Job & Internship Fair Wednesday, March 4, 1–3:30 p.m. in Scanlon Banquet Hall, 577 Western Ave.

Representatives from more than 75 employers will be on hand at the fair, which offers a convenient chance for Westfield students and local residents to network with employers and learn what it would be like to work for their companies. Some of the registered employees include American Outdoor Brands Co., Cintas Corporation, CVS Health, Enterprise Holdings, Harvard Business School, iHeartMedia, the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York state police; MGM Springfield, Six Flags Entertainment, the YWCA of Western Mass., Verizon, WWLP-TV 22, several public school systems and police departments, and many more.

“This fair will have a variety of opportunities for participants in a range of fields, said Junior Delgado, director of the University’s Career Center. “Our staff hopes students take advantage to meet face to face with recruiters and create some potentially helpful connections.”

The fair is free and open to the public. Public parking is available in South Lot off Western Avenue. For more information, contact the Career Center at Westfield State University, 413-572-5206.
