The Career Center at Westfield State University assists employers in their efforts to connect with prospective employees. Each year Westfield State University produces well over 1000 graduates that are highly educated and well qualified to be active members in the workforce. Westfield State is considered one of the finest state universities in Massachusetts, offering degrees in 21 different majors ranging from Business Management, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Environmental Science, Education and many others. Westfield State Univeristy is a member of The Colleges of the Greater Springfield Area Consortium. This partnership allows our students to be exposed to many different programs and experiences as well as multiple career fairs. These fairs are open to New England college students and the public.
- The Government, Criminal Justice & Non Profit Career Fair takes place in October with over 85 agencies and 800 students in attendance. This fair is free for all employers.
- The College Career Centers of Western MA host a Career Fair in April for the eight institutions. Each year the fair rotates from college to college.
- Each spring, Westfield State University sponsors a Career, Internship and Graduate School Fair for all New England college students and the public.
- The Teacher Job Fair is sponsored each spring and is open to all school districts and non-profits seeking education professionals. This fair is free for all employers.
