Welcome to the Marketing Department
The mission of the Marketing Department is to identify and execute the best strategies for communicating Westfield State’s identity and messages to key audiences and to advance the college's mission and strategic goals.  The Department is committed to collaborating with and advising key groups to guide marketing initiatives across the campus. 

The Marketing Department will:

  • assist you in gathering and analyzing data to determine your audience
  • find the appropriate media resources to market to your audience, including print, electronic media and other resources
  • design publications such as brochures, posters, ads and/or other promotional materials
  • help you develop and maintain your website using our content management system
  • provide photography services for your project

Please review the processes outlined for marketing, publications, photography and website projects.  When you are ready to begin your project, please submit a Work Request Form and tell us as much as you can about your project.

Planning ahead is vital to the success of your marketing campaign.  Please be sure to consult the Marketing Department as soon as possible about your project, even if the details are not complete.  By allowing ample time to gather and analyze data and create a marketing strategy, you will increase the likelihood of success for your project.  For example, complicated projects can take as long as 12-16 weeks to complete successfully, especially if they require marketing, publication, photography and website assistance.

We cannot guarantee success on any marketing project that does not allow ample time for preparation.
