Announcing The Westfield State Experience 2018 Summer Internship Program

The Westfield State Foundation, the College of Graduate and Continuing Education and Academic Affairs have teamed up to provide a new Summer Internship  Program for the summer of 2018. 

  • Eligible undergraduates who are approved for an internship experience in their academic department will be able to apply for funding for the summer course credit fees.
  • Students can apply for a three to six credit internship at a course credit cost of $100. 
  • A seven to twelve credit internship will cost only $200.  

These significant savings will allow students to gain valuable career-related experience and academic credit during the summer break.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need and may find it difficult to pay for summer credits.
  • Students may take advantage of this opportunity once during their undergraduate career.  
  • Applicants must be matriculated students with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher with at least 24 earned credits. 
  • Academic departments may have different gpa criteria.
  • 2017-2018 FASFA is required.

The deadline to apply is March 9, 2018   Awards will be announced in mid-April.
