OGSP is the department at WSU responsible for the solicitation and management of funding from external sources. This includes the identification, submission, post-award management, and compliance for various types of funding (i.e. grants, contracts, sub-contracts, cooperative agreements) from corporations, corporate foundations, private foundations, and public entities at the local, state and federal levels. The OGSP also offers a series of workshops throughout the year to faculty and staff on topics such as research funding opportunities, proposal development, budgeting and post-award grant management.
Louann will work directly with faculty, librarians, and staff to help shepherd grants through the submission process, including budget development, and with compliance issues. The OGSP will oversee all compliance issues, pre- and post-award, including time and effort reporting.
