Welcome back to the start of the Fall 2019 semester! Below, please find some helpful information as we start another term.
Classes Begin: Wednesday, September 4, 2019
Add/Drop: Add/drop Ends Tuesday, September 10. Students can make scheduling adjustments either through web-registration or in-person registration (see notes below).
Web-Registration: On Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 7:00 AM, web registration will be open for returning students to make scheduling adjustments and add a 6th course (up to and including 18 credits). Please note the web is only available to returning and transfer students. New September entering First-Year students must come to in-person Registration on Tuesday, September 3 (see below).

Wednesday, September 4 – Tuesday, September 10, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• Enroll in more than 18 credits
• Overload into closed DAY courses with instructor permission
• Add Evening (DGCE course) on a space available basis (can also be done online through your myWestfield account beginning 7 AM, Wednesday, September 4)
• Be enrolled in courses with restrictions if you have a signed/approved “permission to enroll” form
• General help for registration
Schedules: Please remember to view your schedule. Adjustments may have been made over the break due to course cancellations, room changes, etc...Students will be graded for every course they are registered in at the end of add/drop.
Online Catalogs: You can access a fully interactive online version of our undergraduate catalog at http://catalog.westfield.ma.edu. From your smart phone or tablet (iOS, Android, Microsoft) you can access the catalog app by going to http://m.catalog.westfield.ma.edu.
Degree Evaluations: All students should be reviewing their degree evaluations (academics page – Academic Records – degree evaluation link). Please be careful when repeating courses! If you are repeating a course which you previously passed (whether it was intentional or not) the audit may be double counting credits toward graduation. Review your audit for possible repeats and make adjustments as necessary. If you are intentionally repeating a course you must fill out and submit the course repeat form to the Office of the Registrar immediately.
Free Online Enrollment Verifications: After add/drop students will be able to print their own enrollment verifications (full/part-time status) using their myWestfield account, academics page – academic records - enrollment verification. Enrollment status is based on your credits at the time of submission and will be updated throughout the semester.
If you are not planning to return to Westfield for the fall semester, please let us know immediately by faxing a letter with your name, college-wide ID number, signature and reason that you are not returning to 413-579-3010 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
