From the molecular level to the study of interactions with the environment, the Biology Department’s mission is to foster an understanding of and curiosity about the living world and biological processes, as well as an appreciation of how scientific knowledge is acquired.

What the future holds: Enrollment in graduate programs, medical schools and health care programs. Careers as teachers, microbiologists, forensic scientists, veterinarians, environmental scientists, medical and health professionals, and many other specializations.
