About Us

Persona, the student-run literary arts journal of Westfield State College, features student submissions of artwork, poetry, and fiction.

Students of all majors are encouraged to attend meetings and/or submit work to the journal! We meet bimonthly in Bates Hall, Room 118.

Upcoming Events:

Interested students should keep an eye out for the first meeting in early fall semester 2012 if they want to work on next year's edition. All majors are welcome to serve on the Persona Editorial Board. As a member of the Editorial Board, students will help brainstorm the upcoming edition's overall theme. They also plan, advertise and attend Flash-Fiction contests, vote on submission deadlines, organize, read and edit submissions, and help assemble the final print copy of the journal.

Submissions:

The deadline for submissions for this year's issue of Persona has passed. Winners and accepted submissions have been chosen.

Submissions for the 2013 edition of Persona are being taken from now until the end of the fall 2012 semester. Please include your name and email on all copies of your work for future notifications. Submissions collected in this calendar year may not be acknowledged or responded to until spring of 2013. All submissions must be sent electronically to personasubmissions@westfield.ma.edu.
