Mathematics

The Mathematics Department’s undergraduate program is designed to provide a solid foundation of basic and advanced mathematical reasoning and analytical skills.

Majors:

• Mathematics

Concentrations: Teacher licensure programs for middle school and secondary school (recognized by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics)

What the future holds: Careers as teachers, actuaries, and industry mathematicians, for government agencies, and in many other fields requiring their specialized skills. Graduates go on to earn graduate degrees in mathematics, statistics, and information technology.
