Welcome Transfer Students!

Congratulations on accepting your admissions offer to join the Westfield State community! We know that must have been a big decision for you, as transitioning from one college to another is a big deal. We understand and realize that there are many different factors that have led to your decision to transfer and we are ready to help you along the way. No matter the reason for your transition, we are ready to meet your needs as you prepare to become an official member of your new campus community.

The Transfer Orientation Program here at the University runs in partnership with the office of the Registrar. At Orientation you will meet with an advisor to go over your courses, chat with current students who will be available to answer any of your questions, sign up for club listings, and take a tour of campus.  Whether you are a traditional or non-traditional student, plan on living on campus or commuting, or know the campus already, you should plan to attend orientation. Since you are pre-registered for your time blocks by the Registrar's office, there is no registration process for Orientation.
