Announcements
- Housing Sign-Up is in full swing and students have now received their lottery numbers for the process. It is important to remember that the $200 Room Reservation Deposit guarantees students a place in Housing Sign-Up; but students must sign up for a room through one of the Housing Sign-Up segments in order to guarantee themselves housing for next year. If you are interested in finding out more about the Housing Sign-Up process, please click here to view this year's Gazette. It includes information on the process and provides a timeline for students.
- With the close of the semester less than 50 days away, we encourage families to start planning on when they will bring their students home. Often times it is easier if a student brings a few things home each time they visit as opposed to waiting to bring everything home at one time. Just as a reminder, the residence halls will close on Monday, May 14th at 5PM.
- Looking to send something to your student? Please address your mail the following way:
| Main Campus | Lansdowne Place | Econo Lodge |

[Your Student's Name] |
[Your Student's Name] |
[Your Student's Name] |
Please be aware that if you are sending a package to students at Lansdowne Place, please use the Main Campus address so we can deliver the package to the student. Thank you.

What's Going On at Westfield State University
Interested in finding out about the latest and greatest programs your students can attend on campus? Below is the bulletin board we have available to students through their Collegiate Link account. This board is updated every week and gives students the opportunity to attend everything Westfield State has to offer!
The New Co-Curricular Record Program
Just as the Academic Transcript reflects in an official manner what students do in the classroom here at WSU, our new software in MyWestfield will help students show employers and graduate schools how they spent their time outside of the classroom.
If a student signs into MyWestfield they will find CollegiateLink under the “Campus Life” tab. This takes them to an online community—clubs can register and post flyers, send messages, publish news articles (a lot like Facebook). Once a club or department registers into the system then any student involved in that club will have a record of it on his or her customizable Co-Curricular record.
Students should check it out and if they have any questions, issues, or suggestions for the new system please contact Jessica Hufnagle in the Residential Life office at 413.572.8053 or at jhufnagle@westfield.ma.edu.
