The Owl Advantage Program
"The Owl Advantage Program" is a campus-wide, out of classroom programming effort offered by the Department of Residential Life in cooperation with other campus organizations and academic departments. Students are rewarded for participating in targeted, educationally focused programs with gift certificates, flex dollars and prizes. We can provide additional publicity for events by listing them as Owl Advantage events and, in some cases, offer financial support for programs that meet established criteria (audience, program objectives, etc.).
Students can win prizes by attending four Owl Advantage-designated events (examples include any Resident Assistant area event, any Hall Council program, or any program appearing on the Owl Advantage Program calendar coming soon to this website) in a month. Names will be drawn each month and notification given through campus e-mail accounts. Students who attend 18 programs this academic year will be entered in a drawing for large prizes at the end of the academic year.
Each program offered through the Owl Advantage Program is selected to give students an opportunity to increase their knowledge and awareness within areas that the Office of Residential Life has identified as important to successful community living, creating an environment for more interaction and collaboration within the WSU community and supporting the institution’s educational mission.
