President
My name is Lou Cimaglia, and I will be serving as Student Government President for this 2011-2012 academic year. I am very excited and eager to see out my term as President, and have many ambitious goals for the year. Last year, I served on the Executive Council as the Vice President of Finance, and prior to that, I was a representative at large. I have also been a student ambassador on campus, as well as a member of the campus activities board. I hope to see Student Government grow in numbers and in interest this year, as it is a valued and long-standing institution at Westfield State.

Vice President of Student Life
My name is Stephanie Close and I am the Vice President of Student Life for the 2011-2012 academic year.  I am a Junior majoring in History Education , with a minor in Political Science.  This is my third year being a part of the Student Government Association.  My responsibility as Vice President of Student Life is to ensure the quality of student life at Westfield State University; including those who live in our residence halls, and those who commute.  I act as a liaison between the students and the Student Life Administration.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at vpstudentlife.sga@westfield.ma.edu., or come down to the SGA office.
 
Vice President of Academic Life
My name is Tony Iozzo and I am proud to be the Vice President of Academic Life for the 2011-2012 academic year.  This is my third year on Student Government and my second year serving the campus in this position. My duties include serving and assisting the President as needed, monitoring and reporting all issues relevant to academic life, and overseeing the students that sit on college governance committees with the Student Trustee.  I will be the main liaison between administrators and students in reference to academic policies and issues, so never be shy and contact me at vpacademiclife.sga@westfield.ma.edu.  I am a member of the Class of 2012, majoring in Economics and Criminal Justice. Vice President of Finance
My name is Stone Koury and I am the Vice President of Finance for this academic year. Last year, I served as the President of Dickinson Hall Council and Vice President of the Class of 2014, and I have retained my position on class council this year as well. I also served on many committees and sat in on many meetings that have given me a very clear understanding of what is needed from my new position and Student Government Association as a whole. I am currently a Sophomore here at WSU and studying Criminal Justice with minors in Political Science and Philosophy. I am very excited to be where I am this year and look forward to a great year in the finance office. Vice President of Programming
My name is Brandon Burr and I am the Vice President of Programming for the Student Government Association.  I was a member of the Campus Activities Board for my freshman year, and this year I will be chair.  CAB meets Wednesdays at 5:00pm in the SGA conference room, and we are always looking for new members!  If you have any thoughts or ideas on events to bring to our campus, please feel free to come!  I am in my Junior year at WSU and I am a Communication major with a concentration in Public Relations.  In addition to SGA, I am chair of the Neighborhood Association Committee, and co-chair for the Neighborhood Advisory Board.  I am looking forward to a very productive and rewarding year at WSU!  Feel free to contact me at vpprogramming.sga@westfield.ma.edu. looking forward to a very productive and rewarding year at WSU!  
 
Student Trustee  
My name is Ryan Meersman and I am serving my third term as Student Trustee.  I am a Senior, majoring in History and Secondary Education.  My job within the Student Government Association is to voice the concerns of students and represent the opinion of the student body with the University's Board of Trustees.  With issues such as the tobacco policy, grade appeals, student fees, and administrative decisions, it is important that I hear from you so I can make sure I am representing everyone as best I can.  I also oversee the Representatives At Large from SGA that sit on college governance committees, making sure our voices are heard in any decision the college may make.  I am also responsible for keeping an eye on state wide higher education issues and help coordinate a yearly trip to the State House where all of the state universities lobby for public higher education.  I look forward to continuing my service as Student Trustee this year and can be reached at trustee.sga@westfield.ma.edu.  Please get in touch with me with any concerns you may have, and have a great year at WSU!
 
Executive Secretary
My name is Krysta Livingstone, and I am very excited to be serving my second year as the Executive Secretary for the Student Government Association.  This is my third year on SGA, and second on the Executive Council.  As executive secretary, I am responsible for keeping the minutes for all SGA meetings, running the Senator of the Week program, and chairing the committee for the SGA Senate Banquet in the spring!  Aside from SGA I am also an active member of Circle K and CAB.  I am currently a senior fininishing my degree in History/Secondary Education.  I look forward to my last year with SGA!  Feel free to contact me at execsec.sga@westfield.ma.edu or visit my office!  
 
Legislative Secretary
My name is Amy Wing and this year I am serving as the Legislative Secretary. I am a senior this year majoring in multidisciplinary Liberal Studies with concentrations in Communications, English and Education. My responsibilities include accounting for attendance, units, constructing a calendar monthly and chairing the Blue Key committee. Last year I took a hiatus from Student Government Association while I studied abroad in Switzerland. The year before that I served as the Executive Secretary. I am looking forward to being in a new position this year. This year I am also captain of the varsity Track and Field team and will be continuing my job as a daily tour guide on campus.
