Welcome Guidance Counselors!

Thank you for your interest in Westfield State University. We are one of nine state universities in the Commonwealth and admission to Westfield is highly competitive. We offer 31 majors and our classes are taught by a diverse and distinguished faculty who are well-known in their field and are committed to our students’ total educational development. At Westfield, there are numerous opportunities to extend the learning experience beyond the classroom including:

A flagship internship program which includes a variety of authentic, real world opportunities with leading-edge companies, government institutions and not for profit organizations such as Walt Disney World, the U.S. Marshal’s Office, and the American Cancer Society.

Many opportunities to be part of Westfield’s lively and diverse campus life including more than 75 student clubs and organizations and 45 intramural and club sport programs.
