Connecting First Year Students to leadership and success at Westfield State
Thursday, August 29th – Saturday, August 31st
The Emerging Leaders Program is designed to give each student the opportunity to learn leadership concepts and skills through participation in a variety of interactive workshops, activities, and presentations. The program provides students the opportunity to explore their own ideas of leadership, gain valuable experience through small group activities, and challenge the status-quo of involvement. Workshops are geared towards incoming first-year students.
There are a number of reasons to participate in the Emerging Leaders Program. Here are the Top 3:
- Increased involvement in the University and Community.
- Gain access to the top leadership positions on campus, such as Resident Assistants, Orientation Leaders, SGA, and Club Leadership.
- Earn both skills and a leadership certificate that can be put on your resume.
