Transfer Student Program

Welcome Transfer Students!

We are excited that you have decided to join the Westfield State Community to continue your degree!

As a Transfer student, you are invited to join us for two different events Transfer Advising and Registration and Transfer Student Orientation Day. These events offer you the opportunity to get prepared for the continuation of your academic career at Westfield State.

Transfer Advising and Registration Days

April 29th - May 17th

The next important step in your process of joining our community is to attend a Transfer Advising and Registration Appointment. Prior to your appointment, the Department Chair from your chosen major will review your Transfer Course Evaluation. When you come to campus, you will meet with an Academic Advisor from the Office of Acdemic Advising and Transfer Transition to select your coursework and make adjustments to your schedule for the Fall 2019 semester.

Appointments will be schedueld on a rolling basis. Contact the Office of Academic Advising and Transfer Transition at (413) 572-8678 to schedule an appointment.

If you have any business that you would like to take care of while you are on campus for your appointment, our staff will help direct you to the appropriate people on campus that can assist you.

You may bring a Champion with you to campus, but please note that they will not be allowed to attend the Advising Appointment.
