My name is Marcus DiBacco and I shall be serving as the Student Government President for the 2018-2019 Academic Year. As a double major in Criminal Justice and Political Science with a concentration in Public Administration and a minor in English I hope that my knowledge and experience will benefit not just SGA but the greater campus community. Vice President of Student Life - To be announced
Taking upon this honorable role of leadership includes assisting and directing students with campus entities such as The Department of Residential Life, Dining Services, Students Activities, and most prominently Student Affairs. As Vice President of Student Life, I see it as my full responsibility to ensure and fulfill student concerns, desires, inquiries, needs. Facilitating direction and guidance are what I am most utterly passionate about. To aid students with having a voice is a key component of creating an enhanced sense of community and connectedness. I am very excited to continue on with establishing an energetic, vibrant atmosphere for students to reside in. To proceed with providing safety and security for students will only strengthen the warming and welcoming campus that Westfield State University already is.

Vice President of Finance - Thalita Neves

Vice President of Programming - Matthew Howe
My name is Matt Howe, and I am thrilled to be your VP of Programming for the 2018-2019 school year. I am double majoring in Criminal Justice and Political Science, with a concentration in Law. I have been an active member of the Campus Activities Board since my Sophomore year. This past academic year I have increased my involvement more by being a member of the CAB Executive Board as Logistics Coordinator. Student Trustee - Cameron Swan
Hello, my name is Cameron Swan and this year I will be serving a second year as the student trustee. I am originally from Medway, MA and major in Psychology with a minor in Business Management and Writing. Executive Secretary - Sammantha Dorozio
Hello! My name is Sammantha Dorazio and I will be serving as your executive secretary for the 2018-2019 academic year. I am originally from Malden, Ma which is only a few cities over from Boston. I am a Movement Science major, with a concentration in Sports Medicine and have minors in Psychology and Policy Ethics. After graduation I plan to go into rheumatology and work on healthcare reform! As Executive Secretary I oversee the recording of the minutes for the SGA meetings, run elections for SGA, oversee "Senator of the Week," and chair the Owl Ball Committee. Legislative Secretary - Courtney Smith
My name is Courtney Smith and I am so excited to be serving as the Legislative Secretary of the Student Government Association for the 2018-2019 academic year. I am a rising senior as well as an English major with a concentration in Writing, with a minor in Communications. After graduation, I plan to attend Emerson College to obtain an MFA in Publishing and Professional Writing. As a member of the Student Government Association for the past three academic years, I am ready and anxious to be a prominent leader within the campus community. As Legislative Secretary, I oversee the attendance records of all of our SGA senators, and ensure that all senators are taking an active role in our campus community, an ideal that holds great importance to me. I will also be the chair of the Blue Key Committee.
