Solve the mystery

Work as a team to solve a “murder” on campus using forensic science, criminal justice and the latest in crime scene investigation technology! Westfield CSI is an interactive, residential program for students entering their freshman, sophomore and junior years of high school.

  • Live in the Westfield State University residence halls
  • Eat in the Dining Commons
  • Participate in on-campus activities and field trips

Learn about choosing a college that’s right for you including:

  • Applying to college
  • Financial aid
  • Writing your personal essay
  • Study skills for college success
  • Living away from home
  • Career counseling

Dates:  July 14 – July 26, 2013
Cost: $1500 includes program, lodging, and meals

This program is open to anyone entering their freshman, sophomore, or junior year in high school in the fall of 2013 with an interest in criminal justice, investigations, science, or technology, or who would like help preparing for the college application process. This program does not require any specific previous background, just an interest in helping us solve our mystery while experiencing college first hand!

Sample Daily Schedule:

8:30am: Breakfast
9:30 – 12pm: Classes with a break at 10:30
12pm: Lunch
1 – 5:30: Classes with a break 2:30
5:30: Dinner
6:30 – 10pm: Evening social activities, free time, movie nights, game show nights, talent shows, etc.
