Campus Tours

Campus visits are one of the most helpful ways to gather useful information for your college selection process.

Daily, student-guided, campus tours provide prospective students and their families with the opportunity to see our picturesque campus, tour our spacious facilities, and experience the close-knit community and comfortable atmosphere of Westfield State University. The tour includes entrance into a residence hall, the Woodward Center athletic complex, the Ely Campus Center and Library, an academic building, the Dining Commons, and more! • Weekday tours as well as Saturday tours are intended for students who want a general overview of the admissions process, the opportunity to hear about student life from current students and to tour campus.
   
• You are encouraged to make individual  appointments with any other departments of interest before arriving on campus (e.g. an academic department of interest, Financial Aid, Athletics, the Honors Program, Disability Services, etc.).
   
• Information Sessions are geared toward juniors in high school or students just beginning their college search process.
   
• Information Sessions are offered in conjunction with MOST Tuesday and Thursday tours.
   
• Your Tour or Tour/Information Session option will be listed under Step 3, after you select your desired date.

• Late Arrivals: Tour and Information sessions start promptly at the times listed. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, our office will make every attempt to accommodate your needs, however we cannot guarantee a student-led tour. Self-guided tour packets are always available through our office, and a counselor will be available to answer questions. We strongly recommend that you plan on arriving to campus early to check in at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.

   Campus Tours are held Monday through Friday. Information Sessions are only held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in conjunction with a tour.

   Four Saturday Tour and Information Sessions are also available this fall (space is limited).
