This website is a great resource for parents on getting homework help, tips on internet safety and getting involved with your child's school.  It is also a great help for spanish speaking parents and parents of children with special needs.

The Artful Parent is filled with art projects and activites for parents to do at home with their kids.  You can choose to do something fun or to incorporate learning into the art project as well.

All of the activities on this website are designed to promote development for your child.  It gives tips on behavioral management and preparing your child for transitions in school.

Read Write Think is a great tool for finding activities for your child on the weekend of rainy day.  It gives tips on how to revise and edit your child's writing and also has a podcast for parents to follow.


PBS Parents page gives expert advice on how to teach social and emotional skills.  It shows the educational development your child should be at and what you can do as a parent to promote that development.


Science Buddies is a great website to use over the summer with your children.  It has dozens of projects to try out and even offers a search for science based summer camps for your child.
