Meet the Teacher

Matonent is the teacher for room #205. I believe that technology can be a great tool when used in education if used correctly, however it can be very easy to misuse technology in education and teachers must be careful when using technological resources, especially online. We are looking forward to working hand in hand with the parents of our students to ensure that this is a great year! |

I
graduated from Westfield State University, MA, with a
Masters of Education, Elementary Education in 2013, since
then I have worked in a few schools in the area, but have
found my home here at Westfield State Elementary. I grew up in Springfield and attended elementary school in Springfield and high school in Chicopee. Once leaving high school I began my journey to becoming a teacher, first attending Holyoke Community College for my undergraduate study, then moving to Westfield State University for my masters. |

We are lucky in our class to have three lovely assistants, Sam Stone, Kate Manning, Olivia Nugent. They will be with us through out the year and helping in various ways. |
