The best part about this website is the activity search. Here you can type in the topic or theme of your lesson and it will give you tons of ideas to help your students have fun while learning.






The National Education Association’s website is a wonderful resource for any teacher.  This website provides a vast amount of information about education policies, issues, news, and events.  There is also a tools and ideas for the classroom section, providing lesson plans, classroom management, and online tools for teachers.









Teacher vision is a great and easy to use website. This website is clearly organized to help teachers with thematic units, journal ideas, classroom management, lesson plans and even technology. Teacher vision also includes a free newsletter and teacher slideshows which are filled with free printables and great teaching tips. It is also great how Teacher vision includes ways to incorporate upcoming events and holidays into the curriculum.






Read Write Think is a wonderful resource for teachers who are looking for classroom ideas. This website provides ideas for teachers to use in their classroom such as lesson plans, classroom activities, and after school activities. This website is organized by grade level and when to use an activity (for example after school activity or a holiday activity.) Many of Read Write Think's activities are structured around reading.






This is a great resource for teachers where they can find lesson  themes for the classroom and readings for the students to read.

Electric Teacher is a website designed for new teachers. It connects teachers to other sites that have information such as, what to expect the first year of teaching, ways to get over jitters, links to other helpful teacher resources, a survival guide, and much more. This website focuses on the teacher and preparing him/her for the classroom, which is important. This website also gives lesson plan ideas and print outs for the classroom as well. It has many purposes and is very helpful to a new teacher.
