Maymy’s school stresses the quality of life skills that students do not learn in school. We created this school because we dislike the facts that 72% of individuals with disabilities are unemployed, and nearly one third of the poverty in the United States are individuals with disabilities, and we want those rates to drop. We want to be teachers, but we also want to make a huge difference and with the project of Maymy’s School we can do that.
