Buffalo travel in herds. They can recognize the dominate bull by
the size of his horns. By sticking together in a herd, they are
able to ward off attacks such as ones by lions. If a preditor
attacks opne of their herd members, they will engage in mobbing
behavior to fight back, especially to get their cub back.
