Romulus Augustulus, was the last Roman emperor. He declined the emperor
position to the germanic general Odoacer. This
also comes to conclusion that the Byzantine Empire was to be formed after the Turkish
Persians, the Sassanid, took control of Constantinople and declared those lands
part of their own. These elements provoked the fall of the once great empire
and transformed in to two different entities that one took the route of the
middle ages and the other the Byzantine. |
