Group Project: additional detail and hints

Please develop a Web-Site of your own.

• You can base the focus of your site on a common theme or individual interests.
• Make your site colorful, utilize graphics, and try to personalize it to make it useful.

Also included in this web site should be:

• a brief introduction of what will be found at your site, including a statement of your views on the use of the internet in education. Also maybe some background info on the group/class.
• a listing (also categorized) of at least 30 educational web-sites. Please provide a 1-2 sentence review of each.
• a listing of lesson plan examples found on the web that you think reflect your groups teaching/learning philosophy.
• a listing of your own lesson plans developed in class.
• anything else you want to include (be creative, try new things).

A few hints:

• Try to do some planning before you start developing your sites. Creating a story board (see below for example) can be very helpful.
• Determine how many pages you will most likely include in your web-site.
• Determine which pages will be linked.
• Remember to name your first page index.html.
• Remember no spaces in naming your files.
