Planning Your Career in Education

The Office of Career Services offers a variety of programs, services, and resources for students and alumni of Westfield State College interested in developing career goals, exploring options and alternatives, and designing effective plans for employment and advanced study.

Career advising is available, by appointment, for those interested in discussing career options and developing plans for reaching personal and professional goals.

Students and alumni are invited to establish a centralized credential file with the Office of Career Services. This permanent educational file contains letters of reference, transcripts, and related documents. Career Services processes these documents for you during your job search, eliminating the need to make repeated requests for reference letters.

A career bulletin, available free of charge on campus or by paid subscription, provides up-to-date information on programs, services, and employment and internship opportunities.

A career resource library provides a wealth of information on preparing for graduate study and preparing for various careers.

The Office of Career Services is located in the Lammers Hall Annex, 572-5206. More information is available on the Career Services Web Page.
