Professional Interests/Activities:
Dr. Acevedo joined the WSU faculty in the Fall of 2018. He is an award-winning biophysical scientist who is passionate about biomolecular structure and function relationships. His research interests include biochemistry, x-ray and neutron scattering, NMR, and protein-nucleic acid interactions. When he is not at WSU, Dr. Acevedo enjoys using x-ray and neutron sources at the various national laboratories across the country. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports (futbol), playing video games with his friends and walking his dog, Tonka.
