Sociology Club
The sociology club takes the study of society outside the classroom.
Sociology is the scientific and systematic study of society. As one of the social sciences, sociology analyzes human behavior in group settings. Students who major in Sociology are trained to develop a sociological imagination or lens that helps them uncover the connections between personal lives and the broader structural issues.
We offer internships and individual projects that offer opportunities to write original research and gain hands-on experience with relevant government agencies or businesses as well as an orientation towards service to the wider community.
