College For Kids

Registration now open for Summer 2021 classes!

We are happy to announce that registration for the 2021 College for Kids summer program is now open! This year we are offering a small number of in-person classes for students ages 5-14 during the weeks of July 12 - August 6. In-person classes will be offered in the morning only from 8:30am - 12pm. Due to the limited number of offerings, early registration is recommended. For more information about these classes or to register, please visit our College for Kids registration page.

To supplement our in-person class offerings, Westfield State has also partnered with Black Rocket Productions to offer a variety of virtual STEAM classes throughout the summer. These classes are offered on a weekly basis beginning June 7 and ending August 23 and include both morning and afternoon classes. Some examples of classes being offered include JavaScript Developer Jam, Minecraft Animators, ROBLOX makers, 3D Game Design with Unity, Code Breakers, and much more. For more information or to register online for one of these classes, please visit our WSU Black Rocket page.

Westfield State aims to offer a fun and creative educational experience while also ensuring a safe learning environment for our students. To that end, all students will be required to wear masks while indoors. Students will not be required to wear masks while outdoors on break or for class purposes. Additionally, if your child is displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or has had recent exposure to an individual who has tested positive for the virus, your child will not be allowed to attend the College for Kids program unless a negative COVID test can be provided. If you have any questions about safety protocols, please do not hesitate to call (413) 572-8557 or email

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you this summer!
