As the city of Westfield celebrated its 350th anniversary Saturday, graduates of Westfield State University’s class of 2019 looked to the future.

The 180th commencement ceremony took place at the MassMutual Center in downtown Springfield on Saturday afternoon.

Actress, and WSU alum, Jennifer Lafleur, delivered the keynote address.

Other speakers included WSU President Ramon Torrecilha, state Rep. John Velis and chair of Board of Trustees Kevin Queenin.

Jamie Fontaine sang the National Anthem.
