Prof. Barao co-authors article evaluating effectiveness of body-worn cameras

Lisa Barao, Ph.D., assistant professor of criminal justice, co-authored an article published November 22, 2021, in the Journal of Experimental Criminology, about the use of body-worn cameras by police.

Titled “Do body-worn cameras improve community perceptions of the police? Results from a controlled experimental evaluation,” Barao co-authored the piece with Anthony A. Braga and John M. MacDonald of the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Criminology.
