About me:  I have been teaching college mathematics since 1994 and at Westfield State University since 1998. I love being at Westfield and find the community of colleagues and students here to be extremely stimulating and nurturing.

I earned my B.S. in Mathematics from Union College and my M.A. and Ph.D. from The University at Albany, the State University of New York.

I taught at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania; Rhodes College in Memphis, TN; and at The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN before coming to Westfield.

My mathematical interests include K-6 mathematics education, mathematics for liberal arts, knot theory, and mathematics and literature.

Some of my other interests include music, cycling, reading, baseball, and social justice.
