The Department of Chemical and Physical Sciences offers programs in chemistry, earth system science, science education, and biochemistry, as well as courses in astronomy, geology, and physics. With this breadth of topics, we provide knowledge and skills to understand and address climate change, human health and medicine, sustainable energy, water and the environment. We strive to be accessible, affordable, and understandable to all students, and to foster connections with local middle and high schools to recruit students and with local industry, graduate schools, and startups to help place our students.
