Since I began at Westfield State University, I have heard the call of the need for increased communication. As with all institutions of higher education, this need is difficult to fulfill and must be approached through multiple channels. However, this new regular newsletter, planned to be sent every other week during the academic year, is one channel that will complement existing electronic and in-person communication forums. I hope you find this communication tool to aid the University’s effort to be more transparent and address the need to share information in a more timely manner. We look forward to your feedback.
