Westfield State resident students recently donated more than a dozen containers full of clothing to assist the refugees from Afghanistan who are resettling in Western Massachusetts.
The effort was a supplement to the University’s residence hall collections of food for the Common Goods Food Pantry.
The Ferst Interfaith Center, directed by Fr. Warren Savage, is assisting the Afghan refugees with their transition to Western Mass.
